Two Hearts Joined By Trinity
Each year I adore flower gardening more than the year before. You might say it's because I'm getting older and that's what we older people love to do... but truly this year it's been my refuge and self-declared personal therapy. Due to major stress and needing lots of therapy, I went absolutely plum freaky nuts crazy planting stuff I'd never heard of... let alone grown. I really had no idea what I was doing with most of what I planted... just kept telling myself, "Wing it girl... it'll grow! Such as was the case with this gladiolus that came free in a grab bag with other stuff I'd ordered. Not knowing anything about growing a flower bulb, I simply stuck it in the ground and watched and waited... and waited and watched... and watered. When it finally bloomed I declare people must have heard me squeal with delight for many miles around. At the top of my lungs I screamed for Rodney to hurry come here... yep, I scared him to pieces again (that's normal) yelling, "Look, our hearts have bloomed - isn't is so amazing"! He wasn't nearly as thrilled as I was but he did smile once he knew I wasn't hurt... lol! Upon looking closer I saw the 3 hangy down things (whatever their called) which reminded me of the trinity... hearts beautifully joined to heavenly trinity. I'll leave it to you to find the 2 faces, the kiss, the single face... and whatever else you can see in this photo search and find.Have a great day everyone & God Bless! ~ Cindy :-)

on September 25, 2009Lovely closeup...I, too, find gardening incredibly therapeutic. I love walking through the garden every day and seeing the changes. It is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

on September 25, 2009First, I love the picture. The reds and pinks and focus vs. soft focus is exceptional.
Second, I love the story! I've been known to get excited about something I see and take a picture of too!
Third, like what you see in it!

on September 25, 2009Beautiful. Your caption makes me look at it from a spiritual perspective. This would be an awesome addition to a wedding album.
